fenton birds of prey

24/04/2008
A sad goodbye to the birds of prey
It is with regret that we have to announce the closure of the Birds of Prey at its site here from 5 May.

An experienced falconer with a wide collection of birds, Marc Duran joined the centre in April 2006, during its second year of opening; for personal reasons, he has sadly had to make the decision to close in this location.

All our other usual - and more unusual! - activities and events will still be here for visitors to enjoy - just have a look through our events section to see how much there is to do throughout the season.

If you want to make sure you see the Birds of Prey before they leave, you can ‘meet the owls’ at noon and watch the flight display at 2pm every day (weather permitting) until 4 May – an all day ticket gives you the chance to see the birds and learn about them from Marc and his staff. Marc will continue to offer hawk walks, hunting days, group and individual experiences and will be contactable from 5 May on 07769 666135.
